I purchased a vehicle from Audi North Austin on 5/18/22. - kayla.darling
I purchased a vehicle from Audi North Austin on 5/18/22. I am an Arizona resident and bought the car out of state. I was told by their finance director, Natalie Watson, that it would take 4-6 weeks to get my registration. After the weeks passed, I called the dealership to get a status because the DMV in Arizona still hadn't received anything for my registration. No one called me back for two days until I finally reached out to the Audi corporate office for resolution. Audi North Austin uses a third party service, Dealer Docs LLC, for their out of state purchases. They didn't send any documents for my registration to Dealer Docs until June 30th, 43 days later--meaning they took no action on my documents for 6 weeks. I called Dealer Docs LLC on my own to find out they informed Audi North Austin on 7/7/22 that they needed a bill of sale and an Arizona emissions test in order to finish my registration. It is now 7/12 and no one from Audi has reached out to me to tell me of the additional items needed. My temporary plates expire on 7/17/22 and I am currently still in Texas taking care of sick relatives and cannot get back to Arizona until August 4th to get the additional documents. They are now not responding to me on how to get temporary plates to bridge the gap between my expired temp plates and the required emissions test. I suspect they did this so that I would not refinance my autoloan before they were paid on it. There are also other reviews online citing the same issue, and they are not out of state residents. Some people citing 100+ days to receive their registration.
