Purchased a 2018 Ford Fusion at their location at 500 W - Mr C
Purchased a 2018 Ford Fusion at their location at 500 W in Salt Lake City. Or previous car was trashed by a drunk driver and we received significant injuries. The staff was very helpful and friendly as we were negotiating for the Ford. That is until AFTER the sale. Then we found the following;
1 - I had a couple of simple questions and texted the salesman about them. No answer to any texts after the sale. I even commented to him about that. No response.
2 - I paid cash and they "gave their word" that they were not going to pull a credit report. They did. Don't really care much - my credit rating is very high. Was bothered, however, that they did something they promised ( more than once actually) not to do.
3 - As I was signing papers, the salesman indicated that the car was being "washed and the fuel filled". I took his word for that only to notice a day or two later that they had not filled the fuel tank after all.
4 - The touch screen in the Ford was not working well at all. Extremely slow. Tap on the screen for something desired and it would take an easy 30 seconds before it would respond. Easy fix - press two buttons at once to reset and presto, problem solved. I understand this is a Chevrolet dealer and they might not want to help Ford look good, but really? If I sell something to someone I will do all within my power to put it in the best shape possible. Apparently not Jerry Seiner Chevrolet. At least not for a competing brand.
If you are buying a Chevrolet, then maybe Seiner would be a good place to go. Maybe. If you are buying a competing brand used vehicle, you may want to look somewhere else
