We first met Shaker Sales Manager Salvatore Catalano back in June 2021 during the purchase of my girlfriend's 2020 Ford Edge which she and I are very happy with. One year later, coming back in with our first Ford Edge service I again encountered Sal. We had a wonderful and very enjoyable conversation while I was waiting for the oil change. We discussed Shaker's core value system of operating with integrity, providing excellent service before, during and after the vehicle sale and operating with absolute transparency, as their motto states, during the sales process, this is precisely what we have witnessed over the last year. I mentioned to Sal my upcoming pickup truck needs for my new new career and for use in maintaining our Southbury property. While there, Sal introduced me to one of their sales representatives Tyler Mei. Tyler and I had a pleasant and brief discussion about my upcoming vehicle needs, budget and timeline to acquire the new truck, I explained I needed a week or so to do a bit more research and allow time to finalize my new job offer. We exchanged information and agreed to follow-up with one another in a weeks' time. During the week I was never pressured, over contacted or over sold, I was never made to feel uncomfortable or uneasy in anyway dealing with Tylor. I enjoyed working with Tyler a great deal, he was very kind pleasant, personable, cordial and very knowledgeable about the vehicle options that existed in Shakers inventory. We agreed to meet one afternoon on April 7th for a test drive of a 2019 F-150 XLT Sport CrewCab pickup that he found and thought it would be a good fit for what I needed. We had a blast on the drive, had fun, had some good laughs and I ended up falling in love with the truck and put a deposit down right after we got back to hold it until I lined up the financing. That's when I encountered finance manager Chris Arena, Chris was super helpful ensuring the vehicle would be held allowing ample time to get all my financing affairs in place. And like Sal and Tyler, Chris followed the same core Shaker principals of leading with excellent communication, no-haggle pricing discussions, and overall no stress vehicle transaction. During the week I lined up my loan closing, new insurance and final pricing after speaking with Chris, who explained in detail all extended warranty options. I told Chris I would like the bottom line price to also include Shakers Platinum, zero deductible warranty and that I would be coming on April 14th at 2 PM right after my loan closing with my check and to close on the truck. On the 14th I first met Tyler, we did a final walk through of the vehicle which was professionally detailed and made ready to take home that day and also prepared the plates once Chris registered the truck. The closing process with Chris was super smooth and very friendly and efficient, we had the process wrapped up in less than 20 mins. Chris made me feel that my new business was highly valued and greatly appreciated. Tyler was great all the way through, because I now had 2 vehicles at their shop and I was the only driver that day, Tyler offered to drive my new truck back to Southbury following me with one of his colleagues who trailed in an escort vehicle so Tyler could get a ride back, these guys went above and beyond to solve my vehicle delivery. I couldn't be more happy with our second vehicle purchase as I am today, I would highly recommend Shaker and their award winning team to assist you with your next vehicle purchase as well.
