Sunny, but windy in NE Suffolk.

I'm off to Thorpeness to walk the dog. Then Aldebrugh for a coffee. Though, the latter may well be mobbed by the time I get there.

I'm in Marbella and it's not much above 20c here, so I just can't see it happening at home just yet.
Flying back tomorrow into a storm I believe.

BBC saying it should be nothing but bright sunshine right now in Surbiton, it's nothing but white/grey, not a speck of blue anywhere. Good job catering for 8 this evening was never planned to be a bbq.

Yep. Us too in Dorking. I got the bloody paddling pool out for the kids yesterday in anticipation! Yes I know it was wildly optimistic but it was forecast all week!

Pathetic.

Yep, I actually allowed myself to think we were in for rather a pleasant weekend. Fool.

I don't need no paddling pool, nature has kindly created a pond on the grass.

It's so mild. I open the windows every morning to ventilate and usually the temp drops a degree or so. Today after a while the temp had gone up 2 degrees.

Not much sign of the wind that was forecast though.

Towards Thorpeness this morning. Since then it has clouded over. Though it is warm.

(Dog for scale).

Our kitchen bifold window is open today for the first time in 2024, so that's something at least.

Currently in Burry Port, bathed in sunshine, although it is a tad breezy.

Here for Battle On The Beach tomorrow, a bicycle race involving a beach strangely, I am looking forward to the long sections of riding at right angles to the prevailing wind, whilst the weather alternates between heavy rain and sun.

Currently oiling all the garden furniture - gave them a good clean weekend before last and they are nice and dry so the oil should soak in nicely

20 deg C in the back garden so pleasant apart from a little wind

Sitting in my tshirt inside due to not being acclimatised to the sudden warm weather. Had to run out and put some emergency screws in the fence though, blowing a hoolie out there now. Just waiting for the inevitable power cut that usually goes with windy weather out in these parts.

It was lovely earlier - albeit windy - fortunately I am now back home as it is absolutely belting down now, again

Summer? Snow has just appeared on our forecast a week today! I bloody love it here but sometimes wonder at what point will we seek out a warmer climate.

How's the coastal erosion been over winter in Thorpeness Blib? I was sad to see Richard Moores house had to be knocked down, lovely place.
